This is a tarnished silver bullion wire and embroidery badge on a piece of uniform.
This is in excellent condition and is a scroll eared top with 'Polish' style based shield divided vertically (per pale) green (left) and maroon (right) with a central embroidered red bar and an embroidered yellow border. Centrally is an embroidered yellow 'Bohun' swan. It is all atop a motif 'PER LABOREM AD HONOREM' in yellow on green silk with a yellow embroidered border. The whole is on maroon wool twill with a black, waxed paper backing.
It appears to be Buckinghamshire related but I can find no reference to this badge.
