This is a worn but excellent example which has been very carefully removed from a smock, it is very pale blue wings with some definition between the feathers either side a white canopy all on khaki. The whole is very grubby and is a flat example showing no evidence of ever being padded. Ex Brian L Davis collection.

WW2 3rd Free French SAS Beret Badge

This is in worn but very good if slightly grubby condition and is in heavy silk embroidery with the rear correctly mirroring the front. It is a light blue (Pompadour Blue) pair of wings picked out in black with a red border. These either side a vertical dagger in slightly grubby white picked out in black with a red border. Below, a scroll in light blue (Pompadour Blue) with the words WHO DARES WINS in black with a red border. The whole on black with a waxed linen backing. It is a shaped beret badge with a linen backing.
